Join our High- Performing Commercial Banking Team!We are seeking a proven C&I Senior Relationship Manager to play a key role in growing and deepening our commercial banking portfolio.This is an opportunity to partner closely with business clients, delivering tailored financial solutions that drive their success while contributing meaningfully to the bank’s growth. In this role, you will operate as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base, leveraging your expertise in credit, business development, and market insights to identify opportunities, structure complex solutions, and build long-term relationships with up-market clients. You’ll collaborate across internal teams, influence key credit decisions, and lead strategic client engagements while shaping the future of our commercial banking presence in the communities we serve.Compensation for Preferred Qualified CandidatesAdditional base salary and incentive will be considered for highly qualified candidates who meet the following preferred qualifications.Preferred QualificationsExperience serving commercial businesses with annual revenues up to $250MMEstablished COI network within the Commercial Business GAR segmentThe Sr. Relationship Manager serves the needs of the community commercial banking business, customizing a broad range of products and services to meet the financial needs of TD's customers. The job acquires, develops and manages commercial banking relationships by providing customized solutions across different commercial segments to build a strategy that is right for the customer now, and in the future with a focus on growing the portfolio by providing financial solutions and developing new business from both existing and new customers.The role is a trusted advisor who, with sensitivity to the customer's operating environment, structures and packages practical and competitive solutions that demonstrate an understanding of their financing, cash management and overall business needs to add value to the customer's portfolio.Depth & Scope:Recognized as top level expert within the company in a customer segment or product/service line with responsibility for identifying and interpreting trends in the market to structure portfolios and get resultsDevelops new business with prospects that have the largest and most complex credit needs in assigned portfolio segmentDefines new approaches to sell and deliver solutionsAnticipates emerging customer trends as a basis for recommending products and services and expanding the businessHighly sophisticated understanding of customer needs and competitor offerings that contribute to the direction of the business line or segmentOversees the management and activities of large accounts and related servicing teamsManages the most strategic relationships that are characterized by significantly complex products and services provided and/or takes a significant business development focusSolves unique problems with broad impact on the business segment and financialsDevelops and implements new and innovative approaches to the sales process, including negotiation of terms and approaches to account management as directed, coordinate financial analyses needed to make credit decisionsContributes and/or provides recommendation to loan decision process based on evaluation of credit risk and other key factors from Credit ManagementNegotiates specific terms and conditions and communicate credit decisions to prospects and Customers as directed by policy and/or credit approvalLeads all aspects of relationship management for an assigned portfolio /segment and/or geographyDelivers exceptional customer service at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously improve the customer experienceActs as a trusted advisor expected to meet the needs of customers by providing creative products / solutionsActively uses sales platforms to build a robust understanding of customer / target needs, industries, and marketsUnderstands customer's operating environment, structure unique financing, cash management and overall business needs to add value to the customerActively generates referrals to all business partners in the Bank to help meet the comprehensive financial needs of TD customersDevelops a clear retention plan for assigned portfolio deposits and loans within the specified territoryPossesses and constantly enhances expert knowledge of the market, customers, and broader economic factorsIdentifies and responds to changes in the business environment and establishing action plans to address
