TERRITORY RESPONSIBILITY :
Charlotte Territory
Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the direct sales of Megger products, predominately to the following served markets : Investor Owned Utilities, Cooperatives / Municipalities, Generation Facilities, Electrical Contractors, and Military Facilities
- Extensive customer interface requires Technical Sales Representative to reside within the territory
- Must have excellent time and territory management skills
- Must have excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to interpret non-verbal communication cues in order to close sales
- Must be willing to make cold calls, both remotely and in person
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Skills and Competencies :
Education : Degree a plus, BSEE preferredExperience : Requires four years’ experience in sales to electric utilities, apparatus manufacturers and / or heavy industrial facilitiesTechnical background should include knowledge of basic insulation testing, transformers, circuit breakers, rotating machines, switchgear and protective relaysAdditional Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Ability to understand customer organizations and identify key players.Ability to work with minimum supervisionAbility to coordinate sales and support efforts internally and with customers to build relationships and achieve goalsDemonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to secure closing on tasksSelf-motivated with the ability to maintain own schedule and prioritization of your dayStrong organizational skillsExternal Contacts :

Requires up to 60% travel. A company vehicle will be provided
