Schedule : Monday - Friday (No Weekends!) - 12 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM

Pipe Yard Associate

As a Pipe Yard Associate, you will verify the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items ready for shipment, as well as load trucks and receive product as needed. Your duties include :

Pulling and verifying the accuracy of orders for shipment from warehouse inventory, including inter-company orders.

Staging and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring neat packaging.

Separating material to shipping points, loading outgoing shipments, and shipping orders on common carriers.

Organizing pallets and stacks in a safe area and staging all material properly.

Completing all shipping paperwork in a timely manner and notifying salespeople of any material shortages. Counting, weighing, measuring, or examining packaging and contents for conformance to specifications.

Cross-training in the fabrication shop to groove, thread, and cut pipe. Comparing packed items with customer orders and other identifying data.

Ensuring all material pulled is from the location indicated by the gun. Wrapping and identifying skids, and loading them onto the correct truck. Assisting with putting both pipe and stock away as needed.

What We're Looking For :

Education & Experience : High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year of warehouse or forklift experience preferred.

Skills & Certifications : Basic computer skills; forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks like crouching, kneeling, and balancing.
