Cybersecurity Engineer

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (Remote Opportunity). Key Responsibilities Provide expert communication and consultative support on system security certification and accreditation using the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, including documentation, control implementation, and stakeholder coordination Conduct security compliance evaluations and risk assessments, utilizing security evaluation tools to identify vulnerabilities Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of Information Security experience, with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security at a large government agency Experience in leading security activities and developing cybersecurity artifacts using the Risk Management Framework Proficient in security compliance evaluations and alignment with NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls Must possess ISC2 CISSP certification and one or more of the following : IAT II, IAM II, or IASAE II certifications Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
