Job description
A company is looking for a Coding Auditor to provide education and conduct audits of clinically coded data.
Key Responsibilities
Impart continuous education to Coding Staff and prepare training materials
Conduct complex audits of outpatient or inpatient coded data for accuracy and completeness
Analyze audit results and prepare reports and presentations for staff education
Required Qualifications
High School diploma, certification, GED, training, or equivalent experience
Must obtain CCS or RHIT certification within 2 years if not certified upon hire
Preferred bachelor's degree in health information management or equivalent
Proficient in ICD10CM / PCS, CPT4, HCPCS coding conventions, and guidelines
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
