Description
Skyworks is at the forefront of advanced manufacturing processes and data-driven innovation. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious Full Stack Developer Summer/Fall Co-Op to help shape the future of our digital platforms and machine learning solutions. We are seeking a passionate Co-Op with strong software development skills and an interest in data engineering and AI/ML deployment.
You will work closely with our Machine Learning and Data Science team to build intuitive user interfaces, robust backend systems, and scalable services for delivering ML and LLM models to end-users. Candidates will benefit from mentorship by seasoned professionals and the opportunity to tackle real-world problems with significant impact.

Key Responsibilities
- UI/UX Development: Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React and modern front-end frameworks.
- Backend Development: Build and maintain APIs and services to support data-driven applications and ML model serving.
- Data Engineering: Assist in designing and implementing data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
- Model Deployment: Help integrate and serve ML and LLM models in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work in a vibrant, cross-functional team environment, contributing ideas and solutions to complex challenges.
- Documentation & Communication: Maintain clear documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's, Master's or PHD student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React for front-end development.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Node.js, or similar).
- Basic understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and interest in model deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Available June/July to December 2026
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and model serving tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Previous experience in full-stack development projects.
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
