Transportation Sourcing Manager

The role will focus on the Transportation Sourcing category and will be a member of the team supporting Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management of services in the following categories : 3PL, Truckload, Final Mile, Small Parcel, Dedicated Fleet, Ocean Freight, Drayage, and LTL. The Sourcing Manager will remain current on Category Market trends, Supplier Economics, and Procurement best practices. Working with the Business Units and Suppliers, the Sourcing Manager will support a Strategic Procurement process that will substantially reduce total costs.

Primary Responsibility :

• Support relative to the design, implement and execute the organization's strategic sourcing initiatives, including supply market analysis, management of requests for proposal, and supplier negotiations
• Support Contract administration process including contract workspace creation, drafting and maintaining document control practices between all stakeholders, including ODP Legal
• Network across VEYER to build strong relationships with stakeholders and develop sourcing strategies which support their business
• Know your category and market. Be a resource to stakeholders to make better decisions
• Manage relationships with key suppliers ensuring they meet quality and service requirements while maintaining competitive prices
• Manage supplier selection processes using market analysis, concise request for proposals (RFPs), eAuctions and a data driven approach

The salary range for this role is $75,500 / year to $117,950 / year, however all state and local minimum wages will be complied with, resulting in a possible adjustment to the salary range displayed.
