The Sr. Analyst, FP&A role helps support the Finance Director to ensure financial results are communicated effectively and efficiently through strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Verify financial data accuracy through variance analysis and generate monthly reporting packages.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Conduct monthly forecast and annual planning process
• Develop and maintain Software and SaaS reporting packages and own the Software forecast submission
• Develop analytics / insights in support of the FP&A organization and the business partners
• Provide insights on Software / SaaS business
• Participate in month end close by validating financial results and collaborate with accounting team
• Ensure data accuracy and generate reporting packages
• Perform variance analysis and highlight drivers to variance vs business plan
• Maintain financial models to help business leaders analyze and make decisions about their business segments
• Partner with various cross-functional teams on automation of reports and other finance automation initiatives
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

Job Skills and Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in finance (accounting background is a plus)
• Understanding of SaaS metrics and SaaS experience a plus
• Ability to distill data into insights
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and BI tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts (statistics, probabilities, algebraic expressions, etc.)

Base Range : $85,400 - $110,600 + Bonus Eligible

For business reasons, Promethean does not employ individuals who work remotely in San Francisco, San Jose or Oakland.
