Travel Wound Care RN – LTAC Setting

Jackson, TN

We're seeking an experienced Wound Care RN for a travel assignment in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Jackson, TN. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday contract focused on clinical leadership in wound care, staff education, and optimizing patient outcomes.

Position Highlights :

Lead and support the wound care program to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.

Establish standards of wound care across clinical teams in coordination with wound care experts.

Develop and implement evidence-based protocols, treatment algorithms, and product formularies.

Analyze wound trends and lead performance improvement initiatives to reduce wound incidence.

Create and deliver wound care education modules for staff, patients, and families.

Develop and evaluate competencies for clinical staff related to wound and ostomy care.

Collaborate with leadership on wound-related innovation, outcomes, and research.

Support staff development through credentialing, education tracking, and skills evaluations.

Requirements :

Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact eligible)

Wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, etc.) preferred

Minimum 2 years wound care experience in an acute or LTAC setting

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong clinical judgment and experience educating staff
