An inclusive special-education program is looking for a Substitute Registered Behavior Technician who can provide immediate behavioral-support coverage. This assignment offers varied grade levels and student needs, with emphasis on ABA fidelity and flexibility.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Implement behavioral-intervention services on behalf of BCBA-designed programs during substitute assignments
Provide direct support to students with challenging behaviors, using discrete trials, prompting hierarchies, reinforcement systems
Collaborate with classroom staff, follow BIPs and record accurate behavior-data and progress notes
Monitor transition times, assist with behavior-management strategies and promote positive social-skills growth
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
RBT certification via BACB OR Washington CBT credential from WA DOH
Prior paraprofessional or behavior-technician experience strongly preferred
Excellent observational and communication skills; capable of following detailed behavior-support plans
Dependable with flexibility for day-to-day assignments
