A local school-based behavior-support unit is recruiting a certified Substitute Registered Behavior Technician to provide flexible coverage for behavioral interventions and support services. The role supports student behavioral success and continuity of support services.
Responsibilities / Duties :
Serve as a behavioral-support substitute, implementing interventions and tracking outcomes when regular staff are absent
Work with small groups or individual students to teach replacement behaviours, support self-regulation and reinforce positive behaviour
Assist with behavior-data collection, behavior-management systems and communication of trends to supervising BCBA
Support safe and effective behavior-management practices during classroom, transition and non-instructional times
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
Valid RBT credential (BACB) OR Washington CBT credential from WA DOH
Experience in behavioral-support roles desirable
Strong record-keeping, adaptability and effective communication with students and staff
Reliable availability for substitute assignments
