Job Title : LBS1 Teacher (2 Positions) STLR Program (Grades 12 and 35)

Location : Romeoville, IL

Pay Range : $72,000 $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Job Description :

We are seeking two dedicated LBS1 Teachers to join our Structured Teaching and Learning Room (STLR) Program in Romeoville, IL. These positions will serve students in grades 12 and 35.

The STLR program is a self-contained instructional program designed to provide intensive support for students with autism or other developmental delays in a small, structured learning environment. The program focuses on developing communication, social skills, and positive behavior while also delivering intensive academic instruction through an alternate or modified curriculum.

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct instruction aligned to student IEP goals using alternate / modified curriculum.
• Support development of communication, social skills, and positive behaviors.
• Implement evidence-based strategies and individualized supports for students with autism and developmental delays.
• Collaborate with related service providers, classroom staff, and families to support student success.
• Maintain compliance with IEP requirements and district / state regulations.
• Create and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment.
