Oil Terminal Manager
The oil terminal manager is responsible for the overall safe 24 / 7 operation of the bulk liquid petroleum terminal relating to the receiving, storing, and loading of petroleum, distillate, and ethanol products via truck, and pipeline receipt. The manager will oversee a terminal operator. Overall responsibility is to direct the day-to-day operation of the terminal including stock inventory reconciliation, maintenance, regulatory adherence, and company compliance. The position will also include P&L oversight and budgeting responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Management of employees to include daily job responsibilities, employee performance reviews, discipline process, ensuring employee conformance with all HSE requirements
- Facilitate the growth and development of employees for future advancement
- Management and control of terminal maintenance program with the utilization of JDE-PM
- Oversee the physical service and maintenance of all terminal equipment
- Ensure environmental compliance and efficient functionality of all terminal vapor control systems
- Manage all aspects of accurate product receipts and deliveries
- Scheduling and tracking training for terminal employee
- Managing terminal projects in conjunction with management and technical group
- Managing HSE adherence with management and HSE group
- Coordinating, scheduling, and managing required API-653 tank inspections, internal and external (JDE-PM) (Assistance from the technical team)
- Act as a primary focal point and qualified individual for all external regulatory agencies, such as EPA, Local municipal Hazardous Waste office, local AHJ (Fire, Police, etc.)
- Manage relationships with external support companies and consultants, including mechanical and electrical contractors, as well as environmental and engineering consultants, 3rd party support organizations, and internal support teams.
- Maintain and monitor critical spare parts list for terminal
- Act as QI and IC in the event of an emergency at the terminal
- Identify, implement and act on best practices for terminal operations
- Manage, organize, and keep current all terminal plans, i.e. FRP, SWPPP, SPCC, NPDES, LOPs, Haz Waste, etc.
- Support and interact with internal customers and support teams. Collaborate with supply, business unit, technical, finance, and HSE teams

Minimum high school diploma. College degree preferred in applicable field - business, engineering, administration.Minimum 7 years of terminal operations experienceMinimum 3 years terminal management experienceStrong computer skills in current work-related applications, Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.Valid driver license
