About the Role

The Company is in search of a Director of Business Development to join their growing operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy that is in line with the company's vision and objectives. This role requires the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of potential business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to drive the company's growth and profitability. The Director will also be tasked with maintaining a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and providing leadership to the business development team.

Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' of experience in business development, with a focus on the Small Business Administration, and a proven track record of success in this area. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are essential. The role demands a candidate with the ability to make data-driven decisions, work effectively with cross-functional teams, and build and maintain strong relationships. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required, and an MBA is a plus. Additionally, a minimum of 10 years' of experience working with or for the Federal government is necessary for this position.
