Plant Purchasing Manager

Qualifications :

Education and Experience :

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management business operations industrial engineering or similar
• 6-7 years of proven procurement and supplier management experience ideally in Direct and Indirect Material / MRO purchasing
• Proven experience in operational purchasing contract / quotation negotiation and supplier relationship management
• Proficiency in using SAP MM SAP Ariba and Microsoft office suite
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop purchasing team members
• Ideally but not required : Experience in Material requirements planning / Materials management Inventory Control Lot Sizing etc
