We are seeking a motivated, experienced Financial Advisor to join the team and help serve the growing client base while having the opportunity to build and develop their own book of business.
Position Overview
The Financial Advisor will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning, investment advisory services, and ongoing relationship management to clients. This role includes both servicing firm-assigned clients and developing new client relationships through personal business development efforts.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, deep technical competency, and a commitment to operating with integrity under all regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Financial Planning
- Deliver comprehensive financial planning and personalized investment advice to individuals and families.
- Manage and service assigned client relationships, ensuring high-quality, ongoing support.
- Develop and present financial plans, recommendations, and implementation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and compliant client records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Business Development
Cultivate, originate, and grow a personal book of business.Build trusted relationships with prospective clients through networking, referrals, and community involvement.Support firm growth initiatives by handling firm-generated leads in a timely and professional manner.Compliance & Regulatory Standards
Adhere to all Firm policies, procedures, and supervisory expectations.Maintain compliance with SEC, FINRA, state regulations, and all internal compliance requirements.Uphold strict confidentiality regarding client information, firm processes, and proprietary material.Qualifications & Requirements
Required
3-5+ years of experience in financial advising or wealth management.Active Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation.Strong working knowledge of financial planning concepts, investments, insurance, and retirement strategies.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work full-time, dedicate full business hours to the Firm, and operate within a team-based environment.Preferred
Existing client relationships or a partial personal book of business.Experience in financial planning software and CRM systems.Demonstrated business development success.Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Structure
Base Salary : Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.Commission Opportunities :Leads (Firm-Generated) : 20% of net collected revenue on new planning or advisory (AUM) business.Personal Book of Business : 35%-50% of net collected revenue on self-originated planning or advisory business.Benefits
