JOB DESCRIPTION : Assistant Finance Director

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Four-year degree in accounting finance or relevent education / experience.
• Four to six years experience in accounting finance or related area including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and benefits administration or experience with creating a budget within a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and internal control.
• Experience with accounting software required.

REPORTS TO : Finance Director

JOB GOALS : To assist with the day-to-day operaations of the Bookkeeping Department enabling the district to maximize its financial efficiency; an to support the Mission Statement of the Estill County School System 240 day employment.
