Senior Director, Global Digital Marketing Strategy

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President or Senior Director of Global Digital Marketing Strategy to lead the strategic evolution of our global digital ecosystem. This role is pivotal in shaping how clients, prospects, and partners engage with our brand digitally, delivering seamless, personalized, and scalable experiences that drive business growth and strengthen CBRE's position as a digital-first leader in commercial real estate. The VP / Senior Director will oversee the digital experience across more than 60 websites, ensuring alignment with our brand, business objectives, and user needs. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in UX strategy, digital marketing, and B2B client experience, with a proven ability to drive innovation and performance at scale.

What You'll Do :

Strategic Leadership : Define and implement a unified digital experience strategy, aligning with enterprise goals and regional priorities. Drive brand awareness, lead generation, and client engagement through strategic initiatives.

Integrated Digital Strategy : Support business segment-focused integrated digital marketing strategies and experiences. Increase brand awareness, customer advocacy, customer data collection, and pipeline growth across digital channels to support broker and customer journeys.

Digital Ecosystem Oversight : Guide the strategic direction of 60+ global websites, ensuring they function as high-performing, brand-aligned platforms that support business development, client needs, and local market relevance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with brand, content, product, technology, and regional marketing teams to ensure cohesive execution of digital initiatives and campaigns.

Innovation & Future Planning : Stay ahead of digital trends, emerging platforms, and marketing technologies. Champion innovation in areas such as personalization, AI-driven marketing, and automation.

Team & Vendor Management : Lead a high-performing team of digital and UX strategists and product managers. Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement. Manage relationships with external agencies and technology partners.

Platform Strategy & Governance : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee CMS strategy, web architecture, and governance models. Ensure scalability, security, and consistency across digital platforms.

Performance & Optimization : Work closely with the analytics team to define KPIs and measurement frameworks. Leverage data-driven insights to continuously improve user engagement, lead generation, and digital ROI.

What You'll Need :

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in digital strategy, UX, or digital marketing leadership roles, preferably in global B2B organizations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale web ecosystems and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in UX, web strategy, CMS solutions, and emerging digital trends, including AI and automation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing tools and multichannel strategies, such as email marketing, lead nurturing, retargeting, account-based marketing, display advertising, paid search, SEO, and SEM, to create and advance pipeline.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in B2B or commercial real estate sectors is preferred.

Compensation

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Vice President or Senior Director, Global Digital Marketing Strategy position is $210,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Vice President or Senior Director, Global Digital Marketing Strategy position is $250,00 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits : 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
