Portfolio Manager
Were hiring a Portfolio Manager to join our Central PA Lending Team! Support our Commercial Lending Team by managing client relationships, analyzing financials, and ensuring portfolio quality. Responsibilities
Supports assigned Corporate Banking Group and relationship managers with client and portfolio management
New Loan & Loan Renewal Support :
- Communicate with Relationship Managers (RM) and customers in order to gather financial information to support loan request
- Collaborate with RM, Customer, Administrative and Credit Support in order to facilitate loan proposals / approvals. (LPS, appraisals & environmental reports, searches, credit reports, memos, underwriting packets, etc.)
- Collaborate with RM, Customer, Administrative and Loan Servicing Department / Bank Counsel for loan settlement (Boarding sheets, documentation review, customer follow up, etc.)
- Review and final approval of loan coding
- Post loan closing customer follow up (If necessary)
Commercial Loan Support :
Establish operational relationship with designated clients to handle routine daily operational issues and client requests.Monitor and review exceptions (Credit & collateral), maturing loans, ABLs, credit rating maturities, and delinquencies. Work with RM and customer to resolveReview customer risk profile and covenant compliance through the collection of financial data and searches.Portfolio audit preparation, support, and responses for internal and external auditorsSpecial projects and additional duties as required.Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including Univest Code of Conduct
Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Customer-focused individual with strong knowledge of credit, banking, financial analysis, and internal credit processes
3-5 years Credit Analyst or equivalent experience
Ability to manage risk within Portfolio, including loan grading and loan pricing
Ability to handle problems / exceptions in an independent manner
Strong knowledge of commercial lending practices, compliance issues, and underwriting skills
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Bachelors degree in Finance or equivalent experience in related area desired
Trained Financial Analyst preferred
Microsoft Office Proficient
Wage Range : The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000
