Senior Facilities Mechanical Engineer

Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government.

In this role you will lead mission-critical mechanical systems that enable semiconductor innovation, ensuring optimal performance of complex HVAC, cleanroom, and utility infrastructure while driving technological advancement through world-class facility operations.

Responsibilities :

• Design and lead implementation of advanced mechanical infrastructure projects
• Manage critical systems including HVAC, cleanroom, and process utilities
• Develop comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical systems
• Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team
• Support capacity planning and facility expansion projects
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors
• Drive continuous improvement of system performance
