Job Details

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing family office managing a range of alternative investment vehicles including hedge funds, venture capital, and private equity. This role will be responsible for partnership and general ledger accounting across multiple entities and funds.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for various entities, including partnerships and investment funds.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Support capital calls, distributions, allocations, and investor reporting.

Collaborate with the Controller on audits and tax preparation.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards.

Analyze fund performance and assist with internal reporting.

Qualifications :

3+ years of accounting experience, ideally from public accounting with a focus on financial services clients (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, venture capital).

Alternatively, experience working in-house at a family office, fund administrator, or alternative asset manager.

Strong understanding of partnership and fund accounting.

Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel; experience with investment accounting software is a plus.

CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
