About The Position
Job Title : Home Health Occupational Therapist

Description :
The Home Health Occupational Therapist will provide skilled therapy services in patients' homes.
The therapist will work with adult patients, focusing on activities of daily living, cardiac rehab, and more.
Required skills include edema massage, feeding techniques, splinting, TENS, and ultrasound.
Experience with standardized assessment, joint mobilization, and home exercise programs is essential.
The therapist must be an independent practitioner capable of self-scheduling visits.
Patients may include those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or requiring rehabilitation from strokes and other neuromuscular disorders.
Daily visits will typically range from 6 to 8 per day, with a minimum of 6 required points based on management discretion.
The role includes documentation using appropriate systems and ensuring patient and family education and safety during therapy sessions.
Additional responsibilities encompass assessment, planning, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
The therapist must adhere to health policies, including mask-wearing and safety protocols while providing care in the community.
