Sales Director
Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic planning mentoring and developing a high-performing sales team. You will lead by example foster a culture of accountability and ensure the sales team is equipped and empowered to exceed targets in a fast-paced client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development
Train coach and mentor junior and mid-level sales staff
Build a performance-driven culture that prioritizes learning ownership and continuous improvementConduct regular 1 : 1s performance reviews and development planningSales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals
Identify new revenue opportunities and growth channels within the tradeshow / exhibition sectorEnsure consistent pipeline generation accurate forecasting and high conversion ratesKPI & Budget ManagementDefine and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual and team success
Manage sales budgets and track ROI across campaigns and territoriesProvide regular reports and analysis to senior leadershipAccountability & Performance ManagementHold team members accountable for activity performance and ethical standards
Address underperformance proactively and constructivelyImplement systems to track progress efficiency and customer engagementClient & Stakeholder EngagementRepresent the company at key industry events and trade shows
Develop senior-level relationships with clients vendors and partnersCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing operations and event teamsQualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related field7 years of B2B sales experience with 3 years in a senior sales leadership roleExperience managing and growing a sales team in a dynamic environmentStrong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and forecastingExceptional communication negotiation and presentation skillsProficiency in CRM systems and data-driven sales managementA background in the tradeshow events or exhibit industry is a plus but not required.Key Competencies
