Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Manager to join our F inance team in Cypress, CA . The Treasury Manager will have the opportunity to directly impact Yamaha’s growth by negotiating, structuring, executing, and managing debt facilities and securitizations. They will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Yamaha’s securitization financings and other structured finance initiatives. The successful candidate will coordinate Yamaha’s internal resources as well as external partners to ensure successful capital raising. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and compliance of the securitization program to ensure asset optimization in the securitization pools as well as reporting to internal and external constituents, determining how changes in Yamaha’s business may impact securitizations, and staying abreast of industry developments to refine Yamaha’s securitization strategy. Work closely with Treasurer and Finance team to determine optimal program size and structure to meet Yamaha’s overall goals.
What you’ll be doing :
- Strategize, evaluate, structure, and implement new public securitizations for Yamaha’s North American finance businesses to achieve competitive costs and increase liquidity. Experience securitizing retail installment and floorplan ABS and revolving and amortizing asset backed conduits.
- Build scalable, efficient and quality-focused processes for North American securitization programs. Strong knowledge of SEC-registered and 144A ABS platforms and requirements. Work with Accounting, Legal, Risk and Credit teams to design appropriate securitization structures.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with institutional investors, bankers, rating agencies, lawyers, auditors, custodians, trustees, and ARR service providers. Create and deliver investment presentations to attract and retain institutional investors.
- Partner with the legal team to negotiate, review and finalize agreements covering Yamaha’s debt facilities (warehouses, securitization, and other structured financing transactions) and associated financing structures.
- Direct the Company’s public investor asset backed securities reporting, rating agency reporting, auditor AUP and new issuance documentation and disclosure.
- Assist in preparation of financial presentations to internal executive / senior management, Board of Directors, investment bankers, investors, rating agencies and vendors.
- Performs other duties as required.
What you’ll need to be successful :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related discipline required.7+ years of treasury public term securitization and private bank securitizations experience for frequent issuer.Experience driving and owning securitization initiatives and activities from ideation to execution and reporting.Manage external relationships (e.g., investment banks, vendors, contractors, etc.)3 years+ of people management experience required.Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and analysis and communicating Treasury concepts to senior management.Advanced technical abilities, including Excel, SAS, Hyperion, Business Objects, SAP, Bloomberg, PowerPoint, and EDGAR.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
