Job description

One of our Multi-billion-dollar reputable clients in Orange County is looking for a Staff Accountant to add to their team!

Expected base salary range $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

Looking for : Staff Accountant

Ideal Candidate :

3 + years Accounting / Finance Experience
Strong / Clear Written / Verbal Communication Skills
Extensive Experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis (High Volume)
Proficient in Reconciliations
Strong Excel Knowledge
Experience with Journal Entries and Profit / Loss Statements
Degree HIGHLY preferred

Responsibilities :

Compile Monthly Financial Reports using Excel, Oracle, and financial software, with a focus on analyzing significant variances.

Streamline Financial Reporting Processes to ensure accuracy and consistency across all reports and analyses.

Cultivate Relationships with Department Heads and Senior Management to address financial matters collaboratively.

Manage Month-End Closing Tasks including journal entries and reconciliations.

Supervise Banking Transactions using EDS for efficiency and accuracy.

Conduct Monthly Bank Reconciliations and investigate potential fraudulent activities.

Review and Update Budgets Annually, with quarterly forecasting.

Prepare Annual Financial Reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.

Support Auditors during Annual Audits by providing necessary documentation and facilitating procedures.

Enhance Technical and Analytical Skills to provide valuable insights to business partners.

Fulfill Other Duties as needed and assigned.
