Job Description :

COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required October through April.

Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by Phoenix Children's prior to starting.

Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign a Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask at all times during the respiratory virus season.

Please do not submit immunization records or driver licenses with your submissions.

Job Summary

The Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CTC) is a Registered Nurse (RN) and a designated member of the transplant multidisciplinary team with primary responsibility to coordinate and ensure continuity of care for transplant candidates, recipients and their families throughout all phases of care (referral, evaluation, waitlist, transplant surgery and post-transplant).

The CTC partners with the members of the multidisciplinary team including, but not limited to physicians, surgeons, nurses, social workers, pharmacist, nutritionists, financial coordinators and administrative personnel.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher

Experience Requirements

Three (3) or more years of clinical practice and leadership experience

Two (2) or more years of solid organ or bone marrow transplant experience. Preferred

Certification / License / Registry Requirements

Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association
