CPA or CPA eligible preferred.

Five or more years of accounting experience.

Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.

Able to work independently and solve problems related to data discrepancies.

Demonstrate strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong follow-up with attention to detail and accuracy.

Possess good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations of as companies assigned.

Oversee and assist with month-end closing processes including but not limited to commissions, carrier reporting, and other miscellaneous reporting.

Prepare, review and approval of journal entries, account reconciliations and bank / credit card reconciliations.

Assist in the preparation and review of timely and accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements.

Complete and monitor daily cash reports and discuss exceptions in a timely manner.

Review inter-company transactions and manage reconciliations between separate companies.

Support financial audits and assist with conducting other audits.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Other duties as assigned by management.
