Corporate MDS Traveler

Hill Valley Healthcare is seeking a Corporate Traveler MDS Coordinator to support several of our local centers. We want a strong MDS nurse who is willing to assist facilities in a bind as well as mentor new MDS Nurses.

This position will work with facilities in their area who need assistance in completing MDS assessments and careplans to maintain compliance with federal and state guidelines. This is a hybrid position with a combination of remote and in facility work required. Overnight travel will be necessary at times.

This position provides extensive training, analysis and advice to new MDS nurses, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and Company policies regarding MDS patient assessment process, state case mix and Medicare prospective payment systems.

This position will work closely with the Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement in supporting centers in need. This position has great potential for advancement!

A current nursing license to practice in the state or a compact license is required. A working knowledge of MDS and Medicare regulations required.
