The Color Chemical Mixer is responsible for preparing and blending pigments, additives, and plastic resins to produce consistent and high-quality color formulations for plastic manufacturing processes. This role supports production by ensuring accurate mixing according to specifications, maintaining batch records, and performing quality control checks. The mixer operates specialized equipment, follows safety and environmental protocols, and collaborates with production and quality teams to meet color standards and manufacturing goals.

A Day in the Life

• Chemical Mixing & Blending - Accurate measurement and mixing of colors
• Color Matching - Ability to match and adjust colors to meet specifications.
• Batch Processing - Preparing and managing batches according to formulas and production schedules.
• Quality Control - Inspecting and testing mixtures for consistency, color accuracy, and stability.
• Knowledge of Safety Protocols - Handling chemicals safely and following OSHA or local safety regulations.
• Basic Laboratory Techniques
• Fork lift Operation.
• Complete tasks wearing required personal protective equipment which may include fire protective clothing, goggles, face shields, gloves, steel toe boots, hearing protection, respirators, etc.
