Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic / Technician is a full-time position that is responsible for various maintenance functions, including overseeing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing equipment, and the occasional emergency fix that is needed. Each job is worked on to maximize plant efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities
- Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment when needed, helping to adjust and set up equipment for daily production.
- Overseeing preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspections of all machinery.
- Light plumbing, electrical, welding, and carpentry when needed
- Work with the Maintenance Manager to recommend machine upgrades to boost efficiency
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
