Position Summary :

The primary function of this position is to safeguard and protect individuals and assets, providing a safe, secure and nurturing learning environment for the Saint Andrew's School community.

Two positions are available :

• Day Shift working Sunday to Thursday from 8amto 4pm
• Night Shiftworking Tuesday to Saturday from noon to 8pm

Physical Requirements :

General : In addition to the above mentioned requirements, must also work effectively under stressful situations, work independently at times but also function effectively as a member of a team. The security officer must perform all duties in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance.

Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, heat, cold and precipitation. The employee must have the ability to work in inclement and variable weather conditions for extended periods of time and in unpredictable crisis situations. The school has a resident population of students and adults with security scheduled 24 hours per day; 7 days per week; 365 days per year. Shift work required.
