Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Protocol Engineer - this is a fully remote role for US-based candidates or Canada / S America based candidates (if they can overlap with EST timezone).

We are a stablecoin platform for builders. With us, developers can create their stablecoins in minutes by extending our superior digital-dollar building block, and customize attributes such as branding, compliance behaviors, and yield distribution mechanics. By extending $M into their own stablecoin, businesses can monetize their digital dollar use cases and maintain control over their money tech stack, while not being burdened by operational heavy-lifting.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Protocol Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will architect and develop audit-ready smart contracts in Solidity and / or Rust, enhance existing products, maintain comprehensive documentation, participate in code and design reviews to identify optimizations, and collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure, audit-ready smart contracts using Solidity and / or Rust.

Improve and extend existing blockchain-based products and protocols.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.

Qualifications

Strong programming skills : ️‍proficiency in smart contract development using Solidity and / or Rust.

Proven ability to build and optimize secure systems for asset management and yield strategies.

Prior technical role at an established DeFi project.

Familiarity with cross-chain messaging protocols such as Wormhole and / or Hyperlane (nice to have).

Fluent in English.
