Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients

Maintain productivity goals while documenting account actions and identifying issues

Assist with special projects and participate in training to enhance job knowledge

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred

1-4 years of medical claims and / or hospital collections experience

Basic computer skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Understanding of the revenue cycle process and familiarity with insurance types such as Medicare and Medicaid

Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
