Backend Engineer II

A company is looking for a Backend Engineer II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale services

Triage system issues and debug by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on service operations

Mentor other engineers and partner with product teams to implement new features

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in data structures / algorithms / distributed systems

Experience in scaling backend systems, including sharding and partitioning

Solid understanding of distributed systems and scalability challenges

Experience with engineering best practices, including testing paradigms and peer code reviews

Enthusiasm for learning and developing skills in a collaborative environment
