Warehouse Operator

Location : Lenexa, KS Pay Rate : $20.00 / hour Schedule : 1st Shift | Monday Friday | 10 : 30 AM 7 : 00 PM

About the Role

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Operator for a long-term contingent opportunity with our client located in Lenexa, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, retrieval, shipping, and cycle counting of raw and finished materials for both internal and external customers. Youll also assist with housekeeping, maintenance, and special projects as assigned by the Lead and Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, retrieve, and ship raw and finished materials
  • Perform cycle counting and inventory management tasks
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities to support daily operational needs
  • Support special projects and logistics initiatives as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check required for offer
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and 50 lbs up to 60 times in a 12-hour shift
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to understand and speak English
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification (if not already certified)
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations

  • This position requires a standard physical exam due to job duties.
  • Forklift operation is a required part of this role.
