Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor the environment for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols. Support access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site guidelines. Document and report incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with established procedures. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for all occupants and assets. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Aero Patrol Specialist
As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Specialist in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned aero and defense locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule : Day Time
Monday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Tuesday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Friday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Saturday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Sunday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
