How will you make an impact?

The National Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for building relationships with key decision makers at the school district level in addition to selling McGraw Hill's Digital Acceleration suite and intervention products (Achieve3000, ALEKS, & Actively Learn, DI). The candidate will be well-versed in the K-12 education landscape, including funding, state initiatives, demographics, and the procurement process for K-12 schools, which will help inform their overall sales strategy. They will use a process-driven approach to drive organic growth of the K-12 business and will be adaptive to developing new procurement strategies in the remote K-12 market. This role is remote with national territory coverage, allowing the AE to drive business across the K-12 institution market.

Candidates ideally should reside in California. This is a remote position with 70%+ of travel and open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing :

Proven success selling into large K–12 districts (40,000+ enrollment) and working with existing high-level relationships across districts, schools, and key decision-makers.

Deep, established network with senior district officials and experience partnering with national and state K–12 conference organizations (preferred).

Exceptional organizational, territory, and time-management skills, with the ability to independently generate appointments and build strategic account plans.

Strong presentation and communication abilities, delivering impactful meetings both in person and virtually while articulating a nuanced understanding of customer needs.

Critical, strategic thinker with the ability to analyze challenges and opportunities with a problem-solving mindset and develop outside-the-box approaches.

Highly flexible and adaptable, capable of adjusting strategies, navigating complexity, and driving high-level engagement across K–12 systems.

What you’ll need to be successful :

Bachelor’s degree in a related field of education with a strong academic record.

5+ years related K-12 sales experience required.

Intervention and / or Supplemental material sales experience highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience working with top level administrators.

Proven work ethic, a commitment to personal development and an attitude of self-motivation.

Proven success selling to districts with over 40,000 students.

The pay range for this position is between $82,200-$110,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and / or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
