Sr Manager, Global Product Information & Performance

The Sr. Manager, Global Product Information and Performance Lead accelerates global Digital Commerce sales and share growth by transforming our product information into an integrated, high-performing strategic asset. This role drives consumer conversion and marketing ROI by owning the strategy, PIM systems (ie : Stibo), and analytics that ensure our product content is optimized for the digital shelf, retail media campaigns, and brand.com experiences across the Colgate and Hills businesses. As the global business owner for product information performance, the lead partners across divisions including Marketing, Sales, and GIT to define the strategic roadmap, address capability gaps, and ensure our technology stack meets evolving retailer and business requirements. Key responsibilities include establishing a data-driven test and learn agenda for content, analyzing performance to derive actionable insights, and managing the syndication process that fuels our commercial success. Furthermore, this individual will lead the development and sharing of global best practices to build a culture of performance and accountability in how we manage and leverage our product data worldwide.

Owns prioritization of country rollouts via alignment with GIT, Division Leads, and global Digital Commerce strategy.

To transform Colgate-Palmolives product information from a simple dataset into a strategic asset that drives measurable commercial performance. This role will own our global Product Information Management (PIM) system (Stibo) and be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the impact of our product content on conversion rates, sales, and marketing effectiveness across the global digital shelf.

Main responsibilities :

  • Product Data Governance & Excellence (40%)
  • Own the global business strategy and operational health of the PIM (product information management) platform, ensuring it serves as the single source of truth for all product data.
  • Establish and enforce world-class data governance standards and automated workflows to guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of product information.
  • Serve as the primary business partner to GIT, steering the PIM technology roadmap to unlock new capabilities for performance measurement and content optimization.
  • Lead data quality initiatives, identifying and resolving systemic issues to build a foundation of trust and reliability in our data.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization (30%)
  • Define, track, and own the key performance indicators (KPIs) that link product information quality to business outcomes. KPIs include : content health scores, time-to-market, page conversion rates, and impact on Retail Media ROI.
  • Develop and manage performance dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights to marketing, sales, and leadership teams.
  • Establish a test and learn agenda for product content. Systematically analyze the performance of different content types (e.g., A / B testing product titles, analyzing image effectiveness) to create data-backed best practices.
  • Collaborate on regular audits of the digital shelf to benchmark our content against competitors and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Performance-Driven Content Syndication (20%)
  • Oversee the global syndication strategy, ensuring that optimized product content is delivered efficiently and effectively to all key eRetailers and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with Retail Media teams, providing them with the product data insights needed to fuel successful campaigns.
  • Partner with the Ratings & Reviews program to ensure data consistency and to leverage insights from user-generated content to further enrich product information in the PIM.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement (10%)
  • Serve as the companys subject matter expert on how product information drives digital commerce performance.
  • Translate complex data analysis into clear, compelling stories and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by training and empowering regional teams to leverage product information for their local commercial goals.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience : 5-7 years in a data-centric role within Digital Commerce, CPG.
  • Analytical Acumen : A highly analytical and quantitative mindset. Proven ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Essential : Hands-on experience with PIM systems (Stibo / Salsify platform strongly preferred). Knowledge of digital platform integrations and syndication is a must.
  • Highly Desired : Experience with Digital Shelf Analytics platforms (e.g., Profitero, CommerceIQ, Salsify, Pacvue)
  • A Plus : Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau or DOMO
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Results-Oriented : A strong track record of linking projects to tangible business results and market share growth.
  • Collaborative Leader : Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead complex projects across a global, matrixed organization.
  • Salary Range $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles. Benefits : Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation / PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employees hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
