Accounts Payable Specialist

Vaco is working with a fast-growing manufacturing company based in Torrance, CA, who is looking for an AP Specialist to join their team.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, with an emphasis on invoice processing, vendor management, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and hands-on experience using NetSuite .

Key Responsibilities

Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Manage AP-related inboxes and respond to vendor inquiries

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure compliance with internal controls

Work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and other internal teams to resolve PO / invoice issues

Maintain organized AP records and support month-end closing activities

Assist with process improvements and system optimization within NetSuite

Required Qualifications

2+ years of Accounts Payable experience

Mandatory : Hands-on NetSuite experience

Strong knowledge of AP processes and best practices

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Proficiency with Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of 3-way match processes

Familiarity with inventory, purchasing, or ERP workflows
