Project Overview :

Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner on the Northrop Grumman team to deliver the Sentinel Program, which is modernizing the ground-based leg of the U.S. nuclear deterrent triad, including intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems and launch infrastructure. Bechtel's scope of service in Sentinel's current Engineering & Manufacturing Development phase focuses on the ground infrastructure component of the program.

A major contractor for the United States and allied governments, Bechtel has handled such efforts as chemical weapons demilitarization projects, missile-defense, infrastructure, base operations, procurement and project management, and restoration and recovery spanning half a century. Job Summary :

The Construction Automation Specialist will support construction automation efforts for complex projects, using database management, programming skills, and 3D tools. You will establish and administer the portfolio of construction automation applications on the jobsite and data requirements. #LI-CL1

Major Responsibilities :

Provides automation support to teams on project, including setup, training, application and process, software quality assurance and control, reporting, database administration, and close-out of all construction automation software's and applications ?

Arranges, prepares, and conducts meetings, workshops, and presentations as required?

Assists with executing the project automation plan?

Evaluates and coordinates the implementation of new automation modules and tools?

Tests and supports data integration of new releases of production software / programs?

Customizes applications as required by customer?

Prepares user guides and training material and delivers training?

Develops performance curves, metrics, trackers, and user feedback to show trends and use in improvements?

Applies knowledge of database management, programming skills, and 3D tools, to support team and project construction planning, work packaging, progress reporting, material management, turnover / completions, workforce management and timekeeping

Coordinate construction requirements with project IT lead / manager to ensure they're incorporated in the project automation plan

Education and Experience Requirements :

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills :

Application development and maintenance.

Digital process implementation.

Advanced level capability with MS Excel and Access.

Experience with other database platforms is desirable.

Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

Knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience

Prefered Knowledge, and Skills

Extensive knowledge of TEAMWorks and associated applications is required.

Experience with other BSAPs.

A good understanding of Bechtel standard and nuclear construction work processes and procedures is desirable.
