Horse Farm Manager

Salary will be between $20.00 to $23.00 per hour (and based on experience)

Full-Time position working 40 hours per week

About the Role

The Horse Farm Manager is responsible for the daily care of horses and farm animals overseeing barn operations and ensuring the highest standards of safety and animal welfare. This role works closely with the Program Manager to support therapeutic riding initiatives and serves as a key liaison for horse owners staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily horse care : feeding turnout stall cleaning grooming wound care and medication administration
• Oversee barn operations : feeding schedules turnout bedding and facility upkeep
• Schedule and coordinate veterinary and farrier visits
• Monitor horse health and communicate with owners and professionals as needed
• Assess and onboard boarding horses for therapeutic riding programs
• Manage boarding contracts and serve as primary contact for horse owners
• Maintain inventory and order feed hay supplements medications and supplies
• Recruit train and schedule volunteers for barn support
• Safely operate farm equipment (tractors mowers golf carts etc.)
• Enforce barn safety standards and procedures
• Collaborate with Program Manager on horse use availability and health updates
