Position Summary

You will become a vital part of our Cloud Services team as a Senior Software Engineer. In this position, you will collaborate with team members to build a robust, highly available, and customer-focused platform. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is deeply committed to customer success, enthusiastic about simplification, and excited to engage with technology best practices.

Our services and features are primarily written in Python, Golang, TypeScript, and React, with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, stability, and a type-first design approach. You will work on developing public REST APIs, tackling database scalability challenges, managing data migrations, and ensuring configuration management across a diverse range of services.

The Reveal(x) 360 Platform operates on AWS and GCP and employs Terraform to define Infrastructure-as-Code. This powerful platform allows us to integrate native products and services, create intuitive customer workflows, and establish high-throughput data pipelines. Our primary goal is to develop a reliable environment for customer-facing services while promoting a healthy work-life balance through automated remediation and fault-tolerant designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain services in Go and Python that support ExtraHop's products.
• Actively lead and participate in agile development processes, code reviews, and technical strategy discussions.
• Provide technical leadership to junior team members, utilizing your design and mentorship expertise to empower the team.
• Become a technical expert, nurturing a culture of excellence, curiosity, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Proactively address technical debt by continuously improving our codebase and technical stack.

The salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $180,000, plus bonus and benefits.
