Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to manage a long-term polyurethane project in Burnet, TX. This role will operate remotely with weekly travel to Burnet, TX, Brownsville, TX, and the Rio Grand Valley.
Job Summary :
The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts-related business activities and is responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between Carlisle and Assigned key accounts. This role oversees order processing, customer service, communication flow, inventory management, equipment oversight, quality control, and on-site operational alignment. The Account Manager ensures the highest levels of operational performance, product quality, safety, and documentation accuracy across multiple assigned key accounts locations.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Account Management & Communication
Serve as the main point of contact for all communications, directives, and business updates between Carlisle and assigned key accounts.
Manage all order processing and customer service-related issues to ensure timely resolution.Communicate all official statements, business decisions, and operational changes from Carlisle to assigned key accounts.Provide daily operational feedback to both Carlisle and assigned key accounts, identifying manpower needs and facilitating adjustments.Inventory Oversight & DocumentationMaintain agreed-upon inventory levels across three concurrent assigned key accounts locations.
Ensure all Carlisle-required documentation is complete, current, and accurate (BOLs, TDS / SDS, SOPs, QC data, equipment maintenance logs, testing records, product complaints, etc.).Track daily, weekly, and monthly production output to determine burn rates and support raw material planning, logistics forecasting, and capacity management.Equipment, Operations & Quality ControlMonitor equipment performance and ensure repairs, maintenance, and spare parts inventory meet Carlisle's standards and required timeframes.
Provide general oversight of equipment operations, including troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring corrective action.Conduct periodic and random QC inspections to ensure adherence to required quality standards.Document all product or equipment performance issues and support formal Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Safety, Compliance & On-Site SupervisionMonitor compliance with all health, safety, and ethical standards for Carlisle personnel located on assigned key accounts sites.
Make timely decisions that protect quality, performance, and safe operations.Serve as the acting site supervisor for Carlisle personnel assigned to Assigned key accounts.Technical Support & Cross-Functional CoordinationAct as a technical liaison between site operations and Carlisle R&D regarding product challenges, quality concerns, or design updates.
Communicate any changes to product design, QC standards, or technical requirements that may impact performance, quality, or production timelines.Keep all SOPs and product documentation updated; maintain weekly photo / video logs of production.Adjust manpower across sites to maintain balanced technical coverage and operational continuity.Provide guidance and daily leadership to on-site technical resources supporting assigned key accounts operations.Other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Applied deep expertise in polyurethane / polyurea products, equipment, and applications.Strong relationship management and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to interpret and maintain technical documentation (SOPs, QC logs, testing data, maintenance records).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites, workflows, and priorities.Knowledge of equipment operations, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance coordination.Proactive problem-solving and ability to make fast, sound decisions in dynamic environments.High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.Ability to lead, mentor, and guide on-site technical personnel.Education and Experience :
Required :Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, candidates may qualify through a combination of education, training, certifications, or practical experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for success in the this role.3+ years of experience in account management, operations coordination, or production support roles.Experience in technical environments, manufacturing, quality control, or field operations.Preferred :Experience managing customer relationships in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Background in equipment coordination, QC processes, or production oversight.Prior experience supervising or coordinating technical teams.Working Conditions :
Frequent travel to multiple assigned key accounts site locations (approximately 3 concurrent locations).On-site work in manufacturing and operational environments.Requires ability to walk production floors, observe equipment operations, and conduct hands-on inspections.May require evening or weekend availability depending on operational needs.#LI-MW1
