State Licensed Clinical Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacy Technician Sr.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluates and authorizes prior authorization pharmacy requests based on clinical criteria

Communicates prior authorization criteria and pharmacy benefit coverage to relevant stakeholders

Monitors team training needs and serves as a mentor and coach

Required Qualifications

GED or High School diploma

Active pharmacy technician licensure or registration in accordance with state requirements

2+ years of pharmacy experience

In-depth knowledge of specialty injectable prescription drugs and health plan formulary management

Proficiency in pharmacy computerized systems and MS Office Product Suite
