Job Title : Tax Senior (fully remote)

Company Overview : We are a well-established CPA firm with over 150 employees and a prominent presence in Los Angeles, spanning four strategic locations. As a leading provider of comprehensive tax, accounting, and advisory services, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Tax Senior to join our team.

Key Competencies :

• Tax Compliance and Review :

Prepare HRIS and Axcess timesheets, Excel To-Do lists, and other relevant documentation.

Review intermediate-level C-Corporation, Partnership, S-Corporation, Personal, Non-Profit, and Trust tax returns.

Manage and maintain control lists and deadlines, ensuring timely filing and reporting.

Participate in mentoring programs, offering guidance and support to junior staff members.

Communicate and meet with clients regarding current services, assisting with new client proposals and initial engagement meetings.

Assist in the billing process by analyzing Work in Progress (WIP) and providing accurate invoice totals.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements :

Solid understanding of tax form schedules, entity type setup, formation and dissolution, retirement plan options, foreign entity reporting, section 1031 exchanges, basic foreign / multistate returns, POL, PAC, LM2 tax returns, and specialized tax credits.

Actively participate in intermediate / advanced continued education and contribute to the development of in-house training courses.

Ability to conduct intermediate individualized research.

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
