Project Manager – JOC Construction (K-12 & Municipal) | Tempe, AZ (85281)

Overview :

Our client is seeking a dedicated Project Manager with strong Job Order Contracting (JOC) and K-12 facility management experience to oversee ongoing construction and renovation projects across Tempe and the East Valley . The selected candidate will manage multiple JOC task orders, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct day-to-day project operations for several K-12 facility upgrades under JOC agreements.

Work closely with school boards, city representatives, and design partners to develop scope and pricing.

Oversee preconstruction planning, budget management, and procurement.

Review and process all project documentation and change requests.

Ensure subcontractor performance and safety compliance.

Provide consistent progress updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications :

5+ years of JOC or small-project commercial management experience.

Strong knowledge of Arizona public procurement and K-12 renovation practices .

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred.

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
