A Better Opportunity

Better is growing, and we're looking for a Business Development Associate (Partnerships) to help support key growth initiatives across strategic partnerships, client relationships, and operational development. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional with 2+ years of experience in banking, consulting, or financial services who is looking to apply their skills in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

You'll work across teamsincluding Strategy, Product, and Operationsto help drive new business opportunities, support partner engagement, and strengthen Better's market position.

Responsibilities

Support strategic growth efforts by researching markets, identifying potential partners, leading client pitches and outreach

Manage pipeline of customers - lead client interactions, run demos, foster long term business relationships with prospects

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support client onboarding, engagement, and success

Analyze internal and external data to surface trends, opportunities, and strategic insights

Assist in developing business cases for new initiatives and expansion opportunities

Help improve and scale internal business development processes

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across product offerings and client needs

Track key performance indicators (KPIs), report on business development efforts, and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a client-facing role in financial services or fintech

Bachelor's degree required; business, economics, or finance-related majors preferred

Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights from data and communicate them effectively

Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable preparing materials for both internal leadership and external stakeholders

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities

The base compensation range for this role is $125,000 + up to 100% performance bonus of base salary
