A company is looking for an Academic Advisor to guide and support students in their academic journeys. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with students through various remote channels to address academic inquiries and provide guidance Document all student interactions and process degree changes and program requests accurately and timely Engage in professional development and participate in university committees and initiatives to enhance advising practices Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and one year of professional office experience, preferably in academic advising Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with minimal supervision Understanding of student development theory and effective academic advising strategies Experience working with diverse student populations and familiarity with academic policies Demonstrated experience in influencing and advising students on complex academic matters is preferred
