Major / Essential Functions

• Maintain student files, process, and / or authorize documentation, and communicate with advisors and deans on progress as needed.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, campus policies, and administrative regulations.
• Assist in analyzing student data and reports focused on new or ongoing initiatives.
• Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to advising.
• Review transcripts and other data to ensure students meet graduation requirements; including degree audits for Honors graduation.
• Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities.
• Prepare reports on students as required by administration.
• Assist with appropriate communication with students, faculty, etc. and documentation gathering to resolve referrals for student cases.
• Assist with Honors College events, including convocation and Medallion ceremonies.
• Assist in the coordination of the Honors College Medallion ceremony.
• Other duties / projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; one year related experience preferred.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
