Major / Essential Functions
- Maintain student files, process, and / or authorize documentation, and communicate with advisors and deans on progress as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, campus policies, and administrative regulations.
- Assist in analyzing student data and reports focused on new or ongoing initiatives.
- Keep abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and philosophies relevant to advising.
- Review transcripts and other data to ensure students meet graduation requirements; including degree audits for Honors graduation.
- Participate in recruitment and enrollment activities.
- Prepare reports on students as required by administration.
- Assist with appropriate communication with students, faculty, etc. and documentation gathering to resolve referrals for student cases.
- Assist with Honors College events, including convocation and Medallion ceremonies.
- Assist in the coordination of the Honors College Medallion ceremony.
- Other duties / projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; one year related experience preferred.
