TESS is an industry leader servicing the Mega Yacht Industry. We are seeking Automation Technicians to repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems used within marine industry to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency.
The position will be Monday through Friday and is a full-time position, with benefits such as a flexible schedule, health benefits and vacation time.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Designing and installing electrical control systems.
- Programming programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Troubleshooting electrical problems in automated systems.
- Maintaining and repairing electrical equipment : Electrical engineers maintain, and repair electrical equipment used in automation systems.
- Conducting electrical safety inspections.
- Performs other duties as required. This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their manager.

Required Skills / Abilities :
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Automation Systems or in a related field of study.
Minimum of 5 years related working experience required.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
